Grembi is a small site for people roughly 18 to 30 who are figuring it out: first dorm, first apartment, first real job, first Secret Santa where you barely know anyone. We find stuff that’s fun, useful and cheap, and we’re honest about which is which.
What we cover
- Gifts under $25. Birthday, holiday, roommate, coworker, “sorry I forgot”. Budgets that match a student or entry-level paycheck.
- Dorm and first-apartment living. Checklists, small-space fixes and the boring essentials nobody mentions.
- Gadgets and desk setups. Little upgrades and toys that make a desk more fun to sit at.
- Trend check. When something blows up online, we ask the boring but useful question: will you still use it next month?
- Grembi tees. Original designs we write and draw ourselves. More on the tees page.
How we pick
We’d rather recommend five good things than fifty forgettable ones.
- Real products only. Every pick is something you can actually buy in the US. If we can’t confirm a product exists, it doesn’t go in.
- Useful or genuinely fun. “It’s cheap” isn’t enough. It has to do a job or make someone smile for longer than a day.
- The catch, up front. Every pick says who should skip it.
- No pay-to-play. Brands can’t buy a spot on Grembi. We don’t accept free products in exchange for coverage.
- No fake testing. We haven’t hands-on tested everything we recommend. When a pick is based on product listings, specs and buyer reviews rather than our own use, we say that. When we have used something, we’ll say that too.
- No price promises. Prices change daily, so we don’t print them. “Under $25” means the item usually sells around that budget; always check today’s price before you buy.
